歴史的な見地からもスイス屈指の名門マニュファクチュールと誰もが認めるジャガー・ルクルト。同様の名門他社と同じく、このブランドでもレベルソやマスターシリーズといったドレス系コレクションが中心となるが、そのなかで異彩を放つのがポラリスだ。1968年にアラーム機能搭載の名作と合体したダイバーズ「メモボックス・ポラリス」として誕生したモデルは、デザインと高機能を融合させた名門のスポーツウォッチとして人気が高く、2018年に新生ポラリスとして復活。これに複雑機構の永久カレンダーを組み込んだのが「ポラリス・パーペチュアルカレンダー」だ。

2100年まで調整不要の4桁西暦表示を行うこのパーペチュアルカレンダーでは、日付を9時位置、曜日を3時位置、月を12時位置のそれぞれインダイヤル内に表示するほか、南北両半球のムーンフェイズを6時位置、西暦を4桁のフル表示で12時位置に示す。通常こうした多針表示の場合、調整に手間がかかることが多いが、本作はケースサイドにすべての設定を1カ所で行うシングルコレクター（ボタン）を備えるため、シンプル操作でのカレンダー調整が可能となる。
