【プーリア州のワイナリー】マスカ デル タッコ
ポッジョ レ ヴォルピ社（ラツィオ州）のオーナーであり醸造家でもあるフェリーチェメルジェが父の助言を得て、2010年にこの地に畑を購入した。1949年から続く協同組合を購入しマスカ デル タッコと改名。最新の醸造機械を導入して、伝統を重んじながらも高品質のワインを生産する施設を整えた。また、サレント半島の温暖な気候に恵まれた土地と勤勉な農家の働きのおかげで、マスカ デル タッコのワインは卓越した品質のワインとなっている。

熟成：ステンレスタンクと様々な木樽
畑の土壌は鉄や石灰岩を多く含む赤土。プーリア伝統のアルベレッロ仕立て。ブドウの木株は支えなしに自立しているのが特徴。凝縮感のある深い赤色。ブラックチェリーやイチゴ、ローズマリー、スミレや腐植土といった香りが特徴的。滑らかな口当たりの複雑みのある味わい。フルボディで後を引く余韻が特徴である。
