最長で29年以上最短でも88日
太陽の周りを周回する6つの惑星をダークブルーの文字盤に再現したこのプラネタリウムモデル。それぞれの惑星が文字盤を1周する時間は異なり、土星は29年以上、木星は約12年、火星は687日、地球は365日、金星は224日、水星は88日かかる。
Point 2
幸運の流れ星が24時間で1周
ヴァン クリーフ＆アーペルが大切にしてきた幸運のモチーフである流れ星。6つの惑星のいちばん外側にこの流れ星を配し、24時間かけてゆっくりと文字盤を一周。その位置によって現在時刻がわかる、回転ディスク式の24時間表示スタイルを採用している。
Point 3
年月日は時計裏側の外周ディスクに表示
ケース裏にはシースルーバックを採用し、複雑な天文軌道を実現する自動巻きムーブメントのメカニズムや、星が刻印されたローターなどが鑑賞できる。また、その外周には2つの開口部を設け、ここで年月日を表示。年月日は2つのプッシュボタンで設定する。
