ルイ・ヴィトン時計コレクションのフラッグシップとなる「タンブール」。個性的なラウンド型で知られるこのシリーズのコンプリケーション「タンブール カーブ フライング トゥールビヨン ポワンソン・ド・ジュネーヴ」は、ムーブメント、ケース、素材にいたるまで、かつてない斬新な要素が盛り込まれている。まず目を惹くのはダイヤルのスケルトン仕様のデザインだ。ブラック加工の精悍なブリッジに、職人の手で施されたオープンワーク。ルイ・ヴィトンのシグネチャーである“L”と“V”を大々的にフィーチャーし、これを通して自社製ムーブメントCal.LV108が鑑賞できるスタイルになっている。また、9時位置に覗くチタン製トゥールビヨンキャリッジは、メゾンのアイコンである“モノグラム・フラワー”にインスピレーションを得た意匠にするなど、きわめて芸術性の高い仕上がりとなっている。
