Giorgio Armani once said, “Elegance is not standing out, but being remembered.” With that in mind, I ignored the ubiquitous Pitti peacocks strutting about the Fortezza da Basso and focused on the ladies and gentlemen who inspired me with their personal styles during Pitti Uomo 97, the bi-annual classic menswear trade show held in Florence, Italy from January 7th-10th. Following is a list of 9 gentlemen and one lady whose elegance I remember.
