カーキ パイロット パイオニア メカ
新品のヴィンテージウォッチ!?
1892年アメリカ合衆国ペンシルバニア州ランカスターで創業したハミルトン。高精度の鉄道時計を皮切りに、航空会社のオフィシャル・ウォッチや軍用腕時計など、信頼性を求められる場面で、評価を高めてきた。
1965年から76年にかけては、英国王立空軍に延べ40000ピース以上の腕時計を納入している。その中でも73年から76年の間に英国王立空軍に「6BB」のコードネームで納入されたモデルは、第一線で活躍するパイロットから絶大な支持を集めた名機として、語り継がれている。
そんな「6BB」をベースに、忠実に復刻した「カーキ パイロット パイオニア メカ」が登場した。マット加工を施したステンレススティールケースは、直径33mm。最近のトレンドでもある、ちょっと小振りなサイズ感がいい。
視認性を考慮したザラつき感のあるマットなブラックダイヤルには、レイルウェイミニッツトラックを配し、5分刻みのインデックスや時分針にはオールドラジウムカラーを採用。ヴィンテージなテイストが味わい深い。ボックス型のミネラルクリスタル風防も、往時の雰囲気を伝えている。
